Jeff and his father recently traveled to Lyon, France, with a group from their home church to minister
and be a blessing to the people of the Assemblee de Dieu de Lyon (Assembly of God), under the leadership of Pastor
Michel Chiner.
While there they worked on the remodeling project of a new church building and parsonage, which
will soon become a church plant, in a different district of the city from the "mother" church. Jeff worked with others
from Broken Arrow Assembly on laying in some flooring in a student center, while his father, Sam, helped tile a living room
and dining area.
During their stay in Lyon, Jeff had the opportunity to minister in music during the Tuesday evening
service. Jeff played a couple of trumpet solos and delivered an exhortation to the congregation, made up of mostly unbelievers.
The Tuesday night service is the church's opportunity to invite the unsaved and open up their doors to people who typically
would not attend the church on Sundays.
Also, Jeff and his father had the opportunity to visit family in Northern France (Longwy) near the
Belgium border. While there, the love of Jesus was ministered to family members; some of whom are Muslim.
"Please pray that our witness and seed planting will bring a harvest in the lives of many people
in France, both in Lyon and Longwy."
