Jeff and Victor working together |
In late January, Jeff traveled with five other men from One To the Other Ministries, to work on a
couple construction projects in the Transylvania province of Romania. The first location was in Suncuius, where the men
worked on completing the interior walls and ceiling of a building that will be used to train pastors in the area.
At the second location, in Sura Mare, the group worked on
putting up wall board on the third floor of a multi-purpose building. This building has the local church on the ground floor,
and will be a residential training center for women coming out of prison, to educate them, minister the gospel, and
provide them a path back into society.
On Sunday, Jeff was given the opportunity to play a few solos in the morning service at the
first church, and in the evening service at the second church location.

Pastor Ioan and Silivia Nicoara |
While at the second location, Pastor Ioan Nicoara took Jeff and Victor Cruz to visit the nearby Roma (Gypsy)
community. It was quite amazing to see how they lived. Many were not dressed well for the cold and wet conditions that day.
Some of the children aren't allowed to attend school because they don't have birth certificates (no documentation). The pastor
and his wife have taken it upon themselves to teach these young people both the word of God and basic schooling. While standing
there talking with some of the adults, I noticed a teenaged boy staring and pointing at my ministry logo hat and whispering
to the boy next to him. I gave him my hat and he put it on immediately with a big smile, and shook my hand to thank me.
Jeff and Victor pledged to assist these people in some way, and there is now
a trip planned for the Summer of 2021 to bring a group of medical students and doctors to the Roma village.
