I had the honor of speaking and ministering in music at the Oasis Evangelical Conference in Tegucigalpa,
in January 2011. There were 170 pastors and leaders from Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua.

I made this trip with my dear friend Victor Cruz from One to the Other Ministries. He was
my interpreter when I spoke to open the conference on Friday night, and he also delivered the Word at one of the sessions on
Saturday. Pastor Martinez asked me to speak on the subject of my newest book; Five Principles to Dynamic Living.
This set the theme for the entire weekend. What a blessing!
It was such a pleasure to meet and minister with Pastor Marcos Martinez. He is an extraordinary
man. Stricken with polio as a boy, he needs assistance to walk, but yet is given much respect by those he pastors and the
14 teen boys he is currently raising in his home. What a man of God!

Victor and I had the opportunity to minister even after the conference concluded by spending time
with the young boys at the home, and taking them all out to a movie the night before we left. They enjoyed our time as pastors
and friends. Their love and admiration was a blessing to us!
